Dr. Loo SunDin

Hi, I'm Dr. SunDin

Ever since I was a dental student, I was fascinated by the golden ratios of facial growth and aesthetics. It turns out that teeth does affect this greatly, but I also wanted to understand how bone plays such a crucial role.

Thus after graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2005, I set my sights on becoming an oral surgeon that specialised in jaw and facial surgery, especially in young patients.

After working in public service as a dental officer for four years, I received an Overseas Graduate Scholarship from Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in 2009 where I could finally realize my dream. I then trained at the prestigious and rigorous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Master’s of Dental Science Programme at Hong Kong University for 3 years.

As surgery is primarily a hospital-based profession, I spent the next decade dedicated to public service at renowned institutions such as Queen Mary Hospital (HKG), Prince Philip Dental Hospital (HKG), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (SGP), and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (SGP). There, I honed my expertise in facial re-contouring, complex jaw and facial surgery, and dental implant rehabilitation. I currently maintain visiting consultant roles at both these Singapore-based public hospitals to this day.

I’ve helped thousands of young patients regain optimal oral health through impacted wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placements. I’ve also had the privilege of performing over 600 corrective jaw surgeries, empowering these young adults to achieve ideal facial symmetry and a renewed sense of confidence and happiness.
